Our bodies are so clever that we work around minor injuries without even knowing they’re there and while this is really helpful in the short term, it often means we don’t realise the damage we’re doing until a more significant injury occurs. When injury strikes we not only need treatment and rest to heal but we need to rehabilitate and rebuild our bodies to better cope with the demands we place on them.
Reformer Pilates Carlton
Injury recovery and rehabilitation is what we do best at Melbourne Osteohealth, Carlton.
Our flagship rehabilitation program ‘Function Fit’ is an awesome combination of traditional Clinical Pilates and progressive Functional Training that really delivers results.
It’s a precision approach to Clinical Pilates that provides a personalised program of specific exercises, tailored to improve posture, correct imbalances and strengthen weaknesses…all under the guidance of a registered osteopath or qualified clinical Pilates instructor.
Clinical Pilates in our modern Carlton clinic provides an evidence based approach to your musculoskeletal health…it’ll help you strengthen your core, reduce your pain and prevent re-injury…. all while building a stronger, leaner body!
How We Work
In order to provide our individually tailored approach, we always begin with a Comprehensive Assessment. This ensures that our osteopath can prepare a plan that specifically meets your needs.
Our assessment identifies exactly what’s working well and what isn’t; ensuring that your individual tailored program targets your weaknesses and reduces your pain, rehabilitates your injuries and helps prevent re-injury.
Your recommended rehabilitation plan will comprise of a combination of 1-on- 1 and semi- private classes, the exact combination of these is determined by your clinical needs.
We aim provide our patients with a wide range of options in regards to timing and size of classes. You can always choose to remain in 1-on- 1 classes if that’s where you’re most comfortable or you can enjoy the savings of attending one of our scheduled small, semi- private sessions. These are limited to a maximum of 3 people in any one session. So you can choose between the convenience of appointments that suit your schedule or the savings of attending one of our scheduled classes.
We recommend attending at least two sessions per week because we know this generates the most reliable results.
