The hips are a really common area for arthritis and giving them a little movement each day can help ease pain and stiffness; arthritic hips often lack extension movement so this exercise can be particularly helpful in that regard.
- Get down on to your hands and knees on a comfortable surface.
- Extend one leg out behind you until the knee is straight.
- Hold for 5 seconds.
- Repeat 5 times with each leg.
