Deep tissue massage
Not only helps to work through tight muscles but is also a fantastic way to relax the entire body. Deep tissue massage can reduce pain and tightness caused by trigger points, which often result in headaches and muscle soreness, and can interfere with movement and sports performance.
This approach is designed to help treat sporting injuries or ailments. It can be beneficial to everyone from elite athletes to people who engage in more moderate forms of physical activity like walking or cycling between cafes on a weekend.
A gentle way to relax your muscles and your mind. Relaxation massage soothes the soft tissues and encourages a deep sense of relaxation. Evidence shows this style of massage can promote natural endorphins and an improved sense of well-being, and also reduce the levels of stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol.
A great way to manage the aches & pains of pregnancy. Mothers-to-be experience many physical changes including weight gain, postural change and swelling in the hands and feet. We can help relieve soreness, reduce swelling and have you feeling more relaxed. We provide pregnancy massage in a safe environment, using specialised pregnancy cushions that sit on our treatment tables – so you’ll be able to lay on your tummy for the first time in months! However you’re comfortable, we can accommodate.
Dry needling and cupping
These treatment techniques can be an effective way to reduce tension, stiffness and soreness in muscles and other connective tissues. The application of fine needles or cups to tight muscle fibres, neuromuscular junctions and tight fascial tissues can restore range of motion and have you moving and feeling better.
If at any time, you are not satisfied with our care or service, contact us and we’ll happily arrange a free second opinion with another MOH practitioner.
