I’ve been a Bomber fan since before I could even talk. My Grandfather was the timekeeper at Essendon FC for 53 years -having played AFLW for Collingwood FC and now for Carlton FC it’s fair to say he would not be impressed!

In 2017 Nic won Collingwood Football Club’s best-and-fairest and made history by becoming the first ever player to be traded in AFLW history.

Nicola has also rubbed shoulders with Royalty and was lucky enough to meet the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex during their Royal Tour in 2018.

I really appreciate that no two conditions are the same in different people and I enjoy the challenge of working with patients to find the root cause of their specific problem and its contributing factors.

Lower back/ pelvic pain and sports related injuries are key areas of interest for me.

The big picture approach MOH takes to health and well-being aligns with my beliefs and my experiences. MOH prides itself in providing the highest quality care to its patients, and is committed to the development of their Osteopaths so I have no doubt that I will continue to learn from my colleagues.

When she’s not at MOH Nic is usually around the corner at Ikon park playing for Carlton Football Club in the AFLW or busy raising community awareness and all important funds as an Ambassador for Dementia Australia.

A life full of adventure and competitive sport have provided Nic with a deep understanding of the body and it’s function. She takes great satisfaction in sharing this knowledge and empowering others to take charge of their own journey. Her Osteopathic practice is really defined by this desire to understand and empower others.  Nicola aims to provide every patient with the tools they need to take control of their pain and provide a safe platform for her patients to return to full function, sooner.

Nicola completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement before her own Osteopath encouraged her to study Osteopathy the following year. Studying Exercise Science and playing elite football gives Nic a real, lived understanding of the importance of movement, osteopathic treatment and injury  rehabilitation in sports performance.

Throughout Nicola’s final year of University, she travelled to the UK on Clinical Exchange where she worked across many specialty clinics within the University College of Osteopathy, including, Geriatrics, Children’s, Expectant Mothers and patients with HIV.

Nicola is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA), Medicare, TAC and the Victorian Workcover Authority. She is a full member of Osteopathy Australia.

When I’m not at MOH I’m usually around the corner at Ikon park playing for Carlton Football Club in the AFLW or busy raising community awareness and all important funds as an Ambassador for Dementia Australia
