Paul’s interest in healthcare began when he was 18 years old and signed up for his first Kung Fu class. After seeing first hand how vitally important exercise, mindfulness and good nutrition was for his health he decided to draw on his experiences and learn how to provide health services to the public.

Paul began working as a Remedial Massage Therapist in 2005. It was during his time working alongside Osteopaths in a clinic in Sydney’s CBD that he realised how holistic and comprehensive the Osteopathic approach was, and that it had to be the next part of his personal and professional journey.

Paul studied Osteopathy at Victoria University, completing a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) and has since been practicing at Inner West Osteopathy in Newtown, Sydney. He has now joined us at Melbourne Osteo Health and is available for consultation on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Reflecting a strong interest in biomechanics and neurophysiology, your sessions with Paul will involve a thorough physical examination to identify postural imbalances and aberrant movement patterns. After gaining an understanding of why you are experiencing your symptoms a treatment plan can be developed and implemented. Paul will also look for any other conditions that may require medical or specialist attention.

With over 10 years experience as a manual therapist Paul is highly skilled at using myofascial release techniques, muscle energy techniques, joint manipulations and exercise prescription to help restore balance to the body and reduce your discomfort. By the end of each session with Paul you should have a better understanding of the nature of your condition, how to best manage it and how you can return to a better state of health and well-being.

Paul is passionate about his role as an Allied Healthcare Provider and always endeavours to use a team approach when helping people to invest in their health. Paul is happy to communicate with your GP, Medical Specialist, Counsellor, Naturopath or Exercise Physiologist to ensure that your health is being promoted in concert, and in all aspects of your life. He has undergone further training as a recognised WorkCover Provider and is capable of assisting in your recovery from injury and helping you to return to your work and your regular sports or activities.
